1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers legalaicenter.com — our public marketing website. It explains what we collect when you browse the site, request a demo, or email us.
It does not govern the Legal AI Center platform. If your firm is a customer, the client data, documents, and matter records you store in the platform are handled under your written subscription agreement and data processing addendum, where your firm is the controller of that data and we act as your processor. Nothing in this policy limits the confidentiality obligations we owe your firm under that agreement.
Legal AI Center is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We are a software provider.
2. Information we collect
We keep website data collection deliberately narrow. Everything we gather comes from one of three places:
| What | How it reaches us | Why we have it |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work email, firm name, firm size, and your message | Submitted through the demo request form | To reply to your enquiry and schedule a demonstration |
| Anything you choose to write to us | Email you send to a legalaicenter.com address | To answer you and keep a record of the correspondence |
| IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps | Standard server logs, generated automatically by our host | To keep the site available, diagnose faults, and detect abuse |
Demo request submissions are delivered to us by email and are not written to any database by this website.
3. What we do not collect
So there is no ambiguity for a firm evaluating us:
- This website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and runs no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording.
- We do not buy personal information from data brokers or enrich your submission with third-party data.
- We do not ask for, and you should not send us, privileged or client-confidential material through the demo form. It is not the right channel for it.
- Information submitted through this website is never used to train machine learning models. Neither is customer data in the platform.
4. How we use information
We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry, arrange and run a demonstration, answer follow-up questions, and, if your firm becomes a customer, to set up your account. We use server logs to operate and secure the site.
If you ask us not to contact you again, we will stop, and we will keep the minimum record needed to honour that request.
5. Legal bases (UK and EEA visitors)
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and in operating a secure website. Where you have sent us an enquiry, we also rely on steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time using the contact details below.
7. How long we keep it
- Demo requests and related correspondence: retained while we are in contact and for 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted.
- Server logs: retained for 30 days, then rotated out.
- Records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons: retained for the period the relevant law requires.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
8. How we protect it
The site is served over TLS. Access to the inbox that receives demo requests is limited to the people who handle enquiries, and is protected by multi-factor authentication. Our broader controls are described on the Security page.
9. Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable format.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under those statutes, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no opt-out for those activities to offer.
Write to us at the address in the final section. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law sets, and within 30 days at the latest. We may need to verify your identity first.
10. Where information is held
We are based in Florida and the website and its supporting services are operated from the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred here. Where required for transfers from the UK or EEA, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum.
11. Children
This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects how we handle information already collected, we will contact affected firms directly rather than relying on this notice.
13. Contact us
